Nascar's season is entirely too long IMO. Every year I lose interest around the start of football season.

I read somewhere that back during the 50's and 60's there was something like 60 races per year and sometimes there were two races in a week. That's a lot!
We have at least 5 sports going on at one time: NASCAR, football, post-season baseball, pre-season NBA basketball, and NHL hockey. Don't forget horse racing, golf and MLS (if you really care about it).
Don't watch baseball too much any more, but ocassionally. Watch a lot of NASCAR and som NCAA and NFL football games. Will watch some NCAA basketball starting in November.

Yeah. I love weekends this time of year. Nfl, ncaa, NASCAR, f1, Indy and nice weather. Gotta do some fancy work with the remote and dvr on Sunday, but I'd rather have too much to watch on a weekend than not enough.

For tv numbers, I think more Saturday night chase races would help, because screw the PAC 12. For attendance Sunday makes sense, given the lack of pro teams in the cities where the tracks are.
