Has anyone noticed how Dale Jr is doing or the lack of Jr in the top 20? Has not having Tony as crew chief hurt him? Could be. Wonder how all those Jr. fans feel this time of season. He's 27th in points and that's terrible. Will he miss the top 10 at the end of the season. If he doesn't get it together before mid season, he could well count it good bye. :bad: :shakehead: My daughter is a Dale Jr fan and I'm a Jeff Gordon fan. Of course Jeff didn't do well at Atlanta this past weekend. I didn't have him picked but had Dale Jr. What a mistake! :bad: Jimmie Johnson is picked to win the Nextel Cup this season.

I'd say with a fairly good deal of confidence that you can count on Jr, JJ, and JG all being in the top ten at season's end. :twocents:

man its funny that the hendrick guys get suspended. then they cry and get unsuspended.

man what a bunch of junk.

nascar loves hendrick guys and will do anything to make sure they win everytime.

nascar sucks anymore.

He'll be there at the end....Just give him a little bit of time to make his adjustment with his new crew and things and he'll take care of business

This weekend will go a long way in determining how jr and the team will do this year. If he's top 10, he'll be fine. If he's not, then it's going to be a long year.

The next 5 weeks will tell us a lot about Dale Jr........He's still getting the kinks worked out from the crew changes but when he gets them worked out he will be fine...You guys are counting him out so early.......I'm telling ya, he will be there when it matter

Given Dale Jr's status in NASCAR and all of the attention that DEI recieves, I don't see how a crew can exist for DEI that is not good enough to keep Dale Jr or any of the drivers at the top of the pack. Granted I don't follow the sport as closely as I do others, but from my view I see DEI as one of the top racing teams in terms of hiring strength. I guess similiar to a Yankess, Red Sox, or even the Braves from the 90's. A team that will invest money to win. Is this not the case for DEI? Is it not a team that would attract only the best at the different pit crew skills needed for racing?
