I thought this would be helpful and worth splitting from the restaurant thread.
Nashville has a thriving beer scene, and there are a ton of places to grab a quality beer.
My favorite brewery has always been Yazoo, and they recently expanded the hours of their taproom.
Tennessee Brew Works has a good beer selection, and recently they've become more consistent. The taproom space is outstanding, however. Great place to hang out.
Fat Bottom is moving from Main Street in East Nashville to The Nations in September. I would classify the beer as "drinkable," and it's again the taproom that makes it. They do blend an IBA with a red ale in the taproom that results in a really good beer.
Smith and Lentz also falls in this category, but I haven't had their signature beers I feel. Again, a cool place to hang.
As far as craft beer bars, I like both Filling Station locations. The East Side location is much larger.
The Beer Pale also has a frequently rotating selection of beers that's interesting.
