Remember when it was called Dallas?

The problem I have with all shows like this is that everyone has seen them a million times before. You know what's coming before it even happens.

Saw the first 20 minutes or so and it was so transparent and shallow. Compare it to a show like Revenge that while also transparent at least has enough craziness to keep it entertaining.

I haven't liked a drama on Fox, CBS, ABC, or NBC since.....the original Law & Order? Has it been that long?

This one looks the same as the rest. My wife recorded it. I will probably watch 1 ep to give it a fair shake.

The plot is everybody is screwing everybody. There are so many shows where that's the storyline, i don't get it. If it was on showtime and you could actually see somethin it would be different.

Network television is f***ing terrible. Fact.

The earlier seasons of House were awesome.

This show wasn't great the first time I saw it, when it was a movie called "Country Strong".

House wasn't a bad show, but I felt like every episode followed the exact same framework. I felt like if you had seen a few, you had seen them all.

1) Someone sets themselves up for obvious health troubles in the opening.

2) The person other than the one you thought it would be passes out, blood flowing from at least 2 orifices.

3) House doesn't want to take the case.

4) House finds out about some moral crisis, or personal issue with the patient that intrigues him in a completely medically irrelevant way, and agrees to take the case.

5) It's lupus.

6) It's not lupus.

7) House commits some unethical procedure on the patient to diagnose it, and comes up empty-handed, while Cuddy pretends to give a damn about the liability.

8) Somebody says something completely irrelevant to House which leads him to a breakthrough.

I watched roughly the same amount before I already figured out what was going on. It's easier than a lifetime movie. It wasn't terrible or anything, just transparent, like you said.
