Peterman got in 2 series in the first half of Pitt's first game, and completed a 42 yard pass(leading to a TD), and a 19 yard pass, finishing 2-4 for 61 yards and one int. Pitt's coach said that he had faith in both Peterman and Voytik, and that Peterman would get playing time early in remaining games.

I guess OPs point is to say that Peterman's decision to leave was the right one. He would not have seen the field here on Saturday and would be buried on our depth chart behind Dobbs and Dormady (and maybe Jones). I for one am happy for him and hope he gets even more playing time at Pitt:)

he was playing an FCS school. He should be in FCS himself.

This is just the truth. God bless the kid, but he needs to be playing at a level where the game is played at a slower pace, so he has more time to process information and make decisions and where the talent isn't elite. It's not necessarily a knock on him. Most of us could not play QB at a D1 school (to say the least) and neither can Nate, at least not with any competence or effectiveness.

After playing well against Akron it looks like Peterman may get the start this week against Iowa. I hope it ends well but I'm not convinced yet. I do wish him well though.

The way people act on this board you'd think they've all played at the D1 level and succeeded.

Nate the great will carve up Iowa like they're nothing. Look for 300 yards passing with 3 TDs. Pete will also add 60 yards rushing and another TD on the ground.

Also look for for him to catch a TD on some type of trick play. Bascally ole Pete will make Iowa his biatch.

You think I'm playing but I'm not.
