I believe that's the same guy from the documentary "The Man Who Eats Badgers".

It's unusual but there's really nothing wrong with it. In more desolate times the attitude that eating any available food is bad would pretty irrational and insulting, so why is it bad now just because food is more readily available? One could argue that eating a wild animal is better than consuming steroid pumped, mega farm raised chicken or beef.

Eating wild animals is different from eating rotten Roadkill... That is disgusting.

From what I understand insects are a richer source of protein than animals, so the maggots in the rotting, dead badger would probably provide better nutrition than farm raised. FYI.
