And altho he didn't throw an interception, he helped the Bears get the #1 overall "pick" with their loss.

Sorry, not to make fun of the guy I just can't believe he's still finding himself at 2nd string at places.

I don't understand how Peterman keeps sticking around and getting starts, while Josh Dobbs just got his first 2 NFL starts.
Most of it is due to injury. That's how Nate got to have starts. Dobbs got traded to Jax due to Foles getting hurt. Dobbs got to the Titans due to multiple injuries. He just earned a 2 -3 year contract because of his play in the last two games. If Drew Bledsoe had never been injured, we wouldn't have seen Tom Brady or Tony Romo.

How Peterman is on a roster of any NFL team is a mystery that I don't think anyone will ever fully understand. It's honestly impressive at this point considering I don't recall him having any positive starts as an NFL QB.

Might be because some folks can see beyond the surface, and preexisting notions of others. Quality isn't always evident in the packaging. Sometimes it doesn't show until you open the package. For years, I despised broccoli and olives, because friends did too. Then I got older and discovered the myriad ways of cooking the flower plants, and even types of salads you could make. Olives? What a discovery of the various types and flavors those fruit-marbles have! So, I figure Peterman is one of those things where coaches know that preference has as much to do with your attitude as the flavor itself. At least he's Butch-free now.

He's actually 3rd string but Simian was hurt. He's similar to Dobb's. Bounces around and has been on numerous practice squads. But you can still make a living as a 3rd string QB.

He’s made millions playing a game where even in a long season (playoffs/super bowl) he’s only working 7-8 months per year.

It's crazy how shaky the QB position has been between Erik Ainge and Hendon Hooker. Basically got a 2-3 years of Josh Dobbs, a couple of good years out of Tyler Bray and the rest of the time you just held your breath every time a QB dropped back.

He’s the 2K version of Pat Ryan.
May not go into broadcasting but I can see him as an NFL assistant or front office guy before long

Pat didnt go into the league as a 1st round draft pick either. He went in as a 11th round pick which is amazing he lasted 14 yrs in the league. Peterman went in as a 1st rounder who has to prove you "cant play a lick" before they give up on you.

I don't get how Bray has never had a shot but guys like Peterman have had multiple.

At Buffalo, they had money in him so he was going to play regardless......since then, hes a knowledgeable backup. Bray was at KC his entire career and he wasnt good enough to beat out Smith or Mahomes
