Now that the seasons half way over...who you got?

I'm going with either LSU/Alabama -vs- Wisconsin

Little brother upsets OU and gets upset in the process, Oregon will go to Stanford and lay it to 'em, Clemson..no and Boise haha.......no

Wisconsins weak azz schedule should keep them out

If they continue winning the way the have been, no it shouldn't.

They're 6-0 with an average of 50.2ppg on offense and 9.7ppg on defense. The closest game was a 31 point beat down of Nebraska(currently ranked 14th).

The Big 10 isn't anything special but if they're 13-0 with an average margin of 40 points, they should probably be the team that faces Alabama/LSU.

I don't even like Wisconsin and hope they slip up somewhere(same with Oklahoma/St) so Stanford can go to the championship. I just think it would be messed up to leave Wisconsin out in the cold if they beat Nebraska, Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, Penn State and whoever they face in the Big 10 championship by an average of 40 points. People ride Boise State's jock for running up scores in the WAC. Even when the Big 10 down, winning by 40 on average is no joke. I highly doubt they can keep it up but it would be pretty unbelievable if they pulled it off

I am going with a two SEC team national title. Bama beats LSU by 1 point and they switch places in the polls. The number 3 team whomever it may be at the time loses their own championship game, leaving the top 2 teams Bama and LSU. This would just prove how the SEC is the most dominant conference. The only draw back is that I hate both the teams mentioned.

Yup. Wisconsin vs the SEC's best. Wisconsin won't know what hit 'em.

I think Wiscy would be the team that gives Bama/LSU the best game. I don't see them jumping the Bedlam winner though, assuming both stay undefeated until Dec 3.

LSU/bama winner vs OU/OSU winner then the Big 12 gets annihilated in the Superdome by the SEC Champ

The West teams have got to love that the SECCG no longer acts as a championship spoiler game with the East so crappy.

no faith in Clemson I see. It's just not going to happen. I think they finish with 2 loses. I don't like Wisky either but seriously impressed with how explosive their offense is. It's not like their doing it to a couple of teams. They are smackin' down everybody they play. I'd love to see that offense go up against an Alabama / LSU defense. Would be amazing if they completely owned the B10s pride and joy and shut 'em out :p

I think Clemson will go undefeated... but not play for the title game. Which is fine, because it's not like they could beat Wisconsin/Alabama/LSU/OSU/Boise in a playoff or anything.

I have faith that LSU will end the year undefeated, and assume they'll end up playing Oklahoma State for the championship. I think Wisconsin loses this weekend, Stanford can't possibly hope to win out with their schedule and, well, Boise and Clemson don't have the schedule strength that LSU and OSU do.

SOS hasn't been used for BCS rankings in a long time.

Not quite right in your statement.

Yes, its not a specific catagory in the determination of ranking but it is still there.

In the computer rankings, 4 of the 6 use SOS in determining their rankings. Sagarin, Massey, Colley, and Anderson & Hester use it. Wolfe and Billingsley do not. Keep in mind that a team's highest and lowest computer ranking is discarded, the ranking with SOS may or may not be used.

SOS isnt a huge factor in the rankings but it does play a part.

Actually iirc those four do have SOS in their own rankings but it's removed for bcs. Or am I thinking margin of victory?

not sure. Here's a site that I found that goes into detail about how each computer ranking is compiled.

Better Know A BCS Computer: Anderson and Hester | BCS Know How

This is the link for A&H but at the bottom is the link to articles on all the others.

The header date on the article shows from 2010. I cant remember if they tweeked it in the off season. I dont think they did.

Alabama v. Wisconsin/Boise St.

OK has quite the remaining schedule left. OK St. has a easier schedule than OK but it might come down to Dec. 3rd.

A ton of football left.

Okie vs Bama. Unfortunately I think there will be more than 2 undefeated teams at the end of the year...
