Normally I can't stand the "SEC SEC" crowd. I think it's the dumbest thing ever. Why TF do you want other teams in your conference to be successful? But in this case, we compete with Clemson a lot more than LSU for recruits. It's honestly more beneficial for UT that LSU wins.

Because playing in the best conference in the country is important to recruits. The way you stay the best conference in the country? By all your team's winning when they play teams from other conferences. That's why SEC wins always help Tennessee.
