If Bama beats Michigan and Texas beats Washington, then if Florida State beats Georgia tha AP POLL and the coaches poll can make Florida State national champions? 😂😂😂😍

Could possibly vote into a tie. Outright no.
However I see the winner of the Championship game being the consensus #1.

They’d go with the CFP winner. The AP and Coaches poll haven’t gone out of their way to be contrary to the rankings since the format changed in 2014. In fact, if you pay attention in the weeks after the CFP rankings start coming out, a lot of the movement in the Coaches and AP Polls each weekend has become adjusting teams to try to better match the aspects where they differed with the previous week’s CFP rankings. They’re almost more in a “want to stay relevant” phase/course…which also makes it a bit weird when people try to do the whole “this is what the current rankings would look like if we still had the previous BCS system”.

Because nothing about this playoff has already done that? The system, while better than previous systems, is flawed and hopefully the 12 team format will correct the flaws
The 4-team system was supposed to do that already but it seems not. I can’t wait to see how they screw up the 12-team system. There will be something. Right now you’re looking at 2 non-power 5 champs making the playoff and the winner of a watered down Big 12 also making it. That already means one third of the field will likely be subpar. It’ll be interesting to see how quickly the rule regarding automatic bids for conference champs gets changed

I said the same thing and was sent for psychoanalysis. But anything is possible with poll voters,

With FSU defections, I can't see this happening.

I said already, if I had an AP vote, I’d vote FSU #1 no matter what happens, because apparently, winning your games doesn’t matter to the playoff committee. Just vote however you want.

Did you vote UCF #1 in 2017 cause they have almost the exact same SOS

You are about to see why FSU had no business in the CFP. I just wish the committee would apply that same logic to the little 10 teams.

If I did have a vote, I would have voted for UCF to be in the playoff. They were undefeated, and they beat the team Bama and Georgia lost to. Also, Oklahoma lost to 8-5 Iowa State. UCF beat some teams better than Iowa State. Unfortunately, we’ll never know if UCF deserved to be in the playoff or not.
