If we made it and lost to OSU, I would probably go into depression for months.

Isnt there a BCS+1 game this year? So after the four games are played, the top two meet for a final champioship game?

Or did I dream that?

No Plus One.

There is a National Championship Game This Season, but it's a week after the other four BCS games are over, and is between 1 vs 2 after the Conference Championship Games, the first weekend of December.

It basically created two more "At-Large" selections, which should help the Vols.

no one else knows?:ermm:

Ohio St can't lose a game.

Tennessee needs to win out. Including the SEC CG.

Florida needs to lose to Auburn and either Georgia, South Carolina or Vandy.

Notre Dame needs to lose to USC.

USC needs to lose to Cal.

The winner of the West Virginia, Louisville game needs to lose to someone else before or after that game.

Texas probably has to lose to someone too.

IF ALL OF THAT happened, then Tennessee would play for the NC against Ohio St.

Florida could drop behind us with just one loss, especially if that loss is very late (Florida St. or SECG) or very bad.

The biggest problems I see are that the OSU/Michigan winner, the Louisville/WVU winner, and USC will all be signifiacant favorites in every game they have remaining, so root root root for the underdogs.

3. Texas, ND, West Virginia, Louisville need to lose

4. USC might need to lose 2, depending on when the games are

Even if that were so, Florida would still control the SECE. You need Florida to lose to Auburn and then to either UGA or SC to have any chance at all.

It seems to me that, with UGA just plain mediocre and SC at Gainesville, the most likely place for Florida to stumble is at Auburn. After that, it seems unlikely to me that Florida loses in the SEC until possibly the championship game.

Outside chance. This is desperate talk. This is like Tubberville last week lobbying in the BCS folks on why the should be second. Well, the Piggies had something to say about that. Take of business I say and let the chips fall where they may. Right now I am extremely impressed with team. It was a roller coaster ride on Saturday.

Mississippi circa 2002 and 2003, along with Miss State circa 2004 called and said to remember that every game is a test.
