So whats with the knicks..they are piling up good talent like the heat did this season and the mavs do every season but its not helping them...getting francis for what they gave up was good but they have too many small guards they shouldve traded marbury for francis and also traded either crawford or richardson for rose. they also have too many starting big men in jerome james and eddy curry when there not even playin james that much so wats goin on w them?

Who knows. This is probably one of the strangest periods for any NBA franchise I can think of in the last decade or so, since I've been closely folliwng the NBA. They're just getting a bunch of ballhog guards and not developing any talent. One reasonable explanation I can think of is for Isiah Thomas to have a reason to bail and go for that IU job. Really though, I have no idea. It's baffling. Larry Brown will be there next season, however, and probably manage a decent squad (maybe 8th seed if the east is weak like usual) given the talent he has. If the Knicks management continues on its current path though, look for the Knicks to assume the roll the Clippers had all these years.

Larry Brown should step aside. Let Rick Carisle or some other solid coach come in there, along with Joe Dumars to assemble a good group of team players, and then Larry can come back, coach'em up just a little bit more, put'em over the top, and look like a genius.. again.

Come on now... Larry Brown is a very good coach. It's just that the management of this team is on par with pro sports teams such as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Detroit Lions.
