Lot of UNC influence at Grimsley even before pulling T. Shaw in the last class. Would say they will be in pole position unless he wants to play out of state.

Visiting UGA March 25 and in process of setting a trip to Clemson. This one is going to turn into a heavyweight battle with Bama also involved.

Speaking of standing out, the massive defensive lineman from North Carolina was dominant. Tennessee will host him on March 5th, and it will be an important trip. Clemson, Georgia, North Carolina and numerous others. Jarrett likes what he has heard from Tennessee so far but wants to learn more about the defense and how he will be used. He likes the perspective of playing for and being developed by Rodney Garner.

With Tennessee trying to be a factor in the state of North Carolina on a more frequent basis, players like Jarrett would go along way to making that a reality. North Carolina, Clemson, Alabama and others are all in the mix. With questions surrounding the future of Mack Brown at North Carolina, players like Jarrett could be in play for other schools with North Carolina in their footprint.

What’s the 247 article say?

Only positing the quote parts...

It always stood as one of the top schools I was interested in, and it’s still there. And they might have a little edge over a couple other teams. It’s definitely up there,” said Iamaleava, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the No. 3 overall prospect and No. 3 quarterback in the 2023 class.

“I needed this visit. We were always going to make this happen. I told them I was going to get back up here the first time I came. It was good to get back up here a second time.
“It was definitely a great trip, and I look forward to getting back up here sometime during the spring.”

“I got to interact with the fans more this time, and I had a great time with the family,” Iamaleava said. “My mom got to come this time, my little sister, so it was good having them there. We got to catch a basketball game (Saturday). It was a cool experience. I’ve never seen a basketball stadium like that, so it’s just been a great experience overall.
“I think definitely the highlight would be the basketball crowd chanting what they chanted. It was a blessing, just to have crazy fans like that, and to do that in a big stadium like that was great. … But overall, man, I had a great time out here.”

Iamaleava also attended Tennessee’s softball games Friday and Sunday to see his cousin, Lady Vols sophomore infielder Zaida Puni, play in person.
“We’re close,” Iamaleava said of Puni. “We grew up together when we were younger — used to go to Dolphin Park a lot with each other. It’s down in Carson, California. It’s cool to see her at a school that I’m interested in. It’d definitely be huge, if I come here, to already have someone here.”

“I think officials, I’ll probably, definitely take them in the spring,” Iamaleava said. “I think I’m going to start taking them. Oregon, Tennessee, those two are in now, and I’m figuring out the other schools right now. I’m high on Miami. I definitely want to get back to Miami and see Coach (Mario) Cristobal and the staff. I never got to meet the new staff yet, so it’ll be great to meet the new staff.”

Iamaleava said he still intends to announce his college decision during the spring.
“I think that’s what we’re going for — May, probably,” he said.

Appreciate the update, but it’s the wrong thread.
