Rodney Dunham was in town for his first visit for football. It went very well. He is being recruited as a pitching prospect as well. Tennessee impressed him today. He will be back for the Florida game and I expect Tennessee to prioritize him.
Told me earlier today he has dual-sport opportunities at Duke, Tennessee, FSU, and N.C. State. Hit 91 consistently on the gun this past season.

Really want this kid. We are reeling in NC kids like ol Phil use to.
Between Brandon, Harrison, Matthews, Keefe, Dunham, and Delaney, who we either lead for or are tied for the lead, we're recruiting this 2026 NC class better than any NC class in UT history. We have a legit shot to land every one of those guys. We're treating NC like it's instate...as we should.

Also, I don't know where Tennessee stands with 4* Edge Elijah Littlejohn, but him being in the stands to watch Tennessee whip NC State couldn't have hurt.

Littlejohn plays at West Charlotte. Back in the day WC used to be very good. Then their kids began going to Independence HS and coached up by Tom Knotts- and went undefeated for like 7 years??

Of course a lot of people have moved to Charlotte the past 20 years as well. It’s basically doubled in population! Over just 20 years.

A lot of family and business commonalities between Atlanta and Charlotte- speaking specifically about the actual increase in African-American population in Charlotte.

Charlotte is basically like a smaller Atlanta in regards to talent imo.

If we got 5 players a year from the city then I wouldn’t complain at all.

Keep raiding the Tar Heel state as much as possible.

Fill up a quarter of our class from NC? I like it 😎

I mean, when there’s that much talent there for the taking, why not?
I completely agree. Seems like our main competition in NC is who Clemson? Hopefully they don’t win the ACC this year and get into the playoffs. Although, if they did that means maybe we get a chance to demolish them again.

Tennessee continues to turn up the heat on elite 2026 EDGE Rodney Dunham as he is a priority for the staff. We do not feel like Saturday’s visit to campus could have been much better, as it checked a lot of boxes. Dunham is high on the Vols and could visit again later in the fall as they continue to make a strong showing in this recruitment.
