Tim Banks will also start his day in North Carolina in checking in on multiple prospects, including four-star EDGE Rodney Dunham and four-star cornerback Samari Matthews.
Tennessee has continued to do a nice job of cultivating relationships here, and the Vols are among the top contenders for the four-stars from the Tarheel State. Dunham is expected on campus this weekend, and Matthews is expected to return to campus next weekend.

Gotta lock down this guy, Stancil, and Matthews and continue to pull the best players out of NC. They can watch Coach Garner and Chop put NC Edge Pearce in the 1st round this year, Omar N lott at DTackle projected in the 2nd round as well. We will put several DLineman in the NFL again next year.

We are blessed to have the best Dline coaches in the country at UT, as well as much sought after Defensive Coordinator in Banks. Big things happening on Rocky Top. These 2025 and 2026 classes are gonna win Championships.

Dunham has a CB to SC lite. Can anyone explain the reason for such a unhinged thought?
Don't know about that except the CB is from a South Carolina insider. But On3 has predicted him to Tennessee. And in that report, SC, wasn't even mentioned as his top schools. Things could have changed but I like our chances.

Rivals says they think he is USCjrs to lose and they have a sizeable lead

Rodney Dunham is one of the most coveted defensive ends in the South. The four-star recruit from Charlotte (N.C.) Myers Park has been a regular visitor in Knoxville and Columbia throughout the fall and returned to both Tennessee and South Carolina in the past two weekends.

Our intel points to the Gamecocks being in the driver's seat with the blue-chipper – and it'll be hard to beat Shane Beamer's program in this one.

Don’t want Beamer to start building an elite DL. Having Kennard and Stewart helped this year for them.
