Does anyone have a subscription that can give us a breakdown?
- visited during Bama game and again recently
- good friends with Navy Shuler and Charlie Browder
- Former 7v7 teammate with Leacock and got to know Telander during camps
- Will visit Bama 4/14 and may schedule visit to South Carolina
- He says he’s “close” to a decision but still wants to see a couple of places

Seems to me that we lead right now coming off a visit but obviously he has more visits. Callahan said he was told by Cayden a decision in the next month (probably after Bama visit).

Sounds like us and Bama, IMO

That might be the most versatility I've ever seen in a LB highlight film...one play he's bending under an OT in a pass rush move, the next he's dropped way back in coverage, the next he's stuffing the run between the tackles, the next he's running people down sideline to sideline....this kid would be a great pickup IMO

Yeah same. I think he has many connections here but wants to at least visit Bama since it’s already scheduled. I’m not sure where his is on their board or ours.

That last part is the million dollar question. Assuming we're going to land Edwin Spillman, are we going to be even ready to take Jones - a Top 150 player in the country per the composite - in April?

Seems like we're the leader for Jordan Burns. Have Sammy Brown coming to campus in a little over a week and should know more about where we sit there after that visit, but obviously he'll have a spot should we ultimately be the choice. Just offered Chris Cole on a visit and presumably a player there. Have Payton Pierce, Khmori House and Jordan Lockhart all visiting soon - TBD where they'll be on the board and where UT will sit for each of them, respectively, but those are certainly real targets too. Bodie Kahoun coming for his second visit April 15th and we seem to be in at worst a "decent" position for him. Then there are Jeremiah Beasley, D'Angelo Barber and James Nesta (who might be a bigtime MLB draftee), too.

Tough decisions for the staff to make but this is a microcosm of where we're at now in recruiting.

We'll be losing 2, so they may be looking to take 3 again in this class.

If this is the type of player we're turning down or at least holding off then it's hard to say we're not "back"...

It's why I'm a little salty if the rumors in the Jefferson thread are true...kid's got he nerve to be upset that he wasnt treated special at the Bama game last year....if true, he's got it all backwards...he needs to be thankful he's being considered by our staff to play WR is an offense that turns WR's into early draft picks

Would really like to get this kid. He looks like he can do a little bit of everything at the LB position and will be a monster after getting in a college weight program
At 6'4" he could easily play at 240 and still have the versatility to play MLB. I really like this kid and wouldn't just be a carbon copy of what we just added in the previous class.

He’s a big time prospect. I love his pass coverage ability. Same goes for Singleton. I’m not overly concerned with BJM’s ability to coach either of them up in stopping the run and blitzing after what we saw Beasley turn into this season. This guy is 2nd on my want list at LB

Why would we turn this guy down but take Burns?
