'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee commit)

When Sanders is going into his Sophomore year, Heard will be a rising RS Senior. A former 5 star 2 year SEC starter is most likely going pro after that Junior year.
Heard didn't redshirt at LSU, but my math may be lacking. He would be a 4th year senior. Not a lock to go pro, but not out of the question either.

Ohio State mod discussing how their site will cover the Sanders commitment:

Matt and I are tentatively planning to make the trip to Charlotte depending several variables but we want to have coverage from there and David Sanders Sr. invited us down. As for site coverage, yes it will be all hands on deck from us as a staff but that usually the case with commitments because we all handle different ways of getting it out (socials and so on.)

and then more "we're Ohio State, we're the best"

As of today, I still see him as in the class. Obviously, I think Ohio State would have rather seen him in Columbus than at Nebraska and Tennessee. However, if the Buckeyes can weather the storm. I think their pitch to DSJ is still probably the best and most well-rounded. I don't any of his other top three offer what Ohio State can off the field.

I do not think Ohio State is running third for David Sanders. JMHO

their fans are still pissed that OSU didn't have a recruiting event and try to get him on campus. Mod reply;

The family has been so intentional and so smart about this process. They're just going to throw that all out the window and make a decision based on who had an event and who didn't? Think about it for a second. If they wanted to visit OSU one more time they still could have event or not. In fact, it would have been even more attention for them from OSU had they come and had one-on-one time.

I still believe that Sanders had more questions about the two programs he went to versus OSU and that is why he went to those two schools. Now, Tennessee has been the main threat---is him being on their campus around players recruits coaches, etc. good for Ohio State? Absolutely not. Does it help Tennessee? Hell yes. But I do not think having an event or not determined whether OSU gets Sanders.

these guys are delusional
Tennessee recruiting insider Matt Ray still said, despite the Nebraska visit, that he feels Ohio State is Tennessee's biggest competitor for David Sanders Jr.

I spoke with a couple of people in the WHAC this morning and they got the impression the Tennessee visit was simply just a stop on the way home to Charlotte.

Every hour it feels like it goes back and forth between Ohio State and Tennessee. I wouldn't expect to see any RPMs/Crystal Balls/FutureCasts on Sanders.

Lettermen Row should be getting details about his commitment ceremony for Aug. 17 and we are planning on attending if we can.

It's going to change every hour even when he's not talking to anyone? This is crazy for a mod to say.

The "Tennessee just a stop on the way home" thing is even crazier.

Just a complete shot in the dark that makes no sense logistically or geographically.
If it was just a stop why did he have meetings with so many different TN parties while here over the course of two days?

These guys are gonna click bait this thing to
death huh?

Can’t wait to view the OSU on3 board in a couple of weeks when they realize how delusional they’ve been. Especially want to serve some crow to those mods.
I mean they have a damn good class. They’ve just struggled on Oline recruiting. I’m sure they’ll be able to pick up some amazing talent in the portal if they miss here. Neither school is going to be killed especially with the scholarships increasing soon. Sanders though is the most important recruit this cycle imo, I do think he’s a future NFL LT.

Wait…
So Sanders invited The OSU version of Austin Price to his commitment ceremony….?

Yeah I don’t like that. Didn’t King say the NIL was “ridiculous “ that The Buckeyes offered?

we haven’t played them in over 20 years and I want to beat Ohio State worse than ANYONE ELSE right now.

WR Tate
WR Jeremiah Smith
All the damn 5 star Corner Backs they have committed right now !!

Sick of these overhyped chokers!!

Well when the OSU guy asks to come cover it, Sanders Sr. isn't going to say no.

This guy just uses more words than AP.

AP version:. 'osu still feels like they're in a good spot, nothing's really changed, Tennessee still biggest competition.'

They don't think UT can offer what Bucknuts U can offer off the field? What exactly are they offering? Also, how can they possibly say that their NIL pitch is far and away better than any other school's because they couldn't possibly have a clue unless the Sanders' are horrible at negotiating and completely gave away what other schools are offering. BTW, I don't think the Sanders' are bad at negotiation.

They think the offer the better education and the better medical program (he wants to be a doctor), which they believe is a huge differentiator for the Sanders family.

Well, la di da. I think someone made the point that he can always do his pre-med at another school (UT) and transfer to another place (OSU) for med school and still get the benefits of the OSU med school reputation.
