'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee commit)

GQ members are insufferable. They jump him when he reports bad news and don't understand that recruiting isn't a video game
I wish we would just spend the 50 minutes and send the house and do a hard sell. I’ve done this multiple times on NCAA College Football and it works every time.

Hope he stays, but I think the model for OL is shifting to portal first, recruiting second. May be true of other positions as well. But the nature of how bigger, heavier kids develop would make it the first position to shift more to a portal model in my opinion.
Our reliance on the portal for OLinemen is a big part of our problem. Chemistry (being able to work together as a cohesive unit and anticipate each other's moves) is one of the primary attributes of a solid offensive line. You never develop that if you're constantly plugging in new transfers every year. Fans' love affair with the transfer portal is baffling to me.

So, OSU recruits Sanders, it’s all over the internet that it’s OSU for his commitment.
He picks Tennessee, OSU has egg on its face.
Out of the blue(for us fans) he visits OSU, it’s all over the internet he’s flipping his commitment.
He signs with Tennessee( next Wednesday), OSU has omelet on its face🤣🍊👊🏻

Tom Loy’s article on 247 this AM:

However, last weekend, he showed up in Columbus for an unofficial visit to Ohio State. The trip went extremely well. Buckeyes fans were fired up, while Volunteers fans were sick to their stomachs.

All that said, despite the big push down the stretch by everyone associated with the Ohio State football program — in some ways led behind the scenes by five-star quarterback and future Buckeye Tavien St. Clair — our best sources believe that he'll eventually put pen to paper with the Volunteers.

Sanders isn't one to go out of his way to mislead, and we have it on good authority that he's still telling people who matter that he wants to be in Knoxville.”

There we go

Skip to end. Hubbs basically confirms that all eyes are on if Sanders shows back up at OSU. Also says it is not about money but about language.

He also confirms if you lose him it is a big deal. Not that we are losing him, but that he is the key piece. Summarized that players have to want to play here. That is what drives final decision when all aspects are even.

Hubbs' deal is wet blanket. Matt Ray, and AP are one's in know here.

Unblock that buckeye troll. See if they can back lol. Damn front runner.
I would just like to say ive been working to be kinder, and nicer in an adult fashion.

However, to any Buckeye fan id just like to give a Laurel, and Hardy (Blazing Saddles ref.) **** you. But, not just a **** you. The kind of **** you that tinges the nostrils. Like a bulbous shower fart. It festers and lingers, and pervades for hours. The kind you walk around with all day, open windows for. Adheses to your nasal lining reminding you hours later, of the **** you.

If the purpose was contract leverage that defeats the objective which is what is being described.
then that tells me that even if he does come here, the coaches have to look at him as a one year rental every year, and that is fine, just be aware that that is the new way of life in college football

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ companies look at analytics of keeping employees. Once you are settled, have 401K, skin game...chances are you'll stay.

IOW,

We need a dislike button. This isn’t Jordan Seaton. I understand your point but you’re overreacting.
