Nico wasn’t putting up the kind of numbers Faizon put up as a sophomore in HS.

At that stage post sophomore year, Faizon is an all around better QB.

And the Heup will only build over these next two seasons

Does competition factor into the difference in the stats between Faizon and Nico that you just brought up? I would think Cali and NC are a little different in that regard?

I know a lot of people wanted to compare this kid and Curtis. Especially, since Curtis is in state. But Curtis is damn near 2 years older than Brandon and they're in the same recruiting class. Curtis is older than GMac. These are underlying factors that you look at when evaluating recruits. It's not simply looking at size and comparing sophomore film. This will be a huge win tomorrow. I’ve been exposed to both and Grimsley plays at the very top of NC public schools.

Downey CA sometimes plays the upper echelon in the playoffs depending on the format.
