its going to depend on who they bring in for QB coach and OC. there is a big difference in coaching NFL talent, and coaching up kids for the NFL.

they can sell his success at the pro level to get in the door, and maybe if it comes down to a tie. but I doubt it is the main reason.

now whatever NIL money having Bill may shake free could definitely make a difference.

No Brady didn’t win multiple Super Bowls. You need to look at those SB victories and realize how many times Belicheck defenses had excellent to historic defensive performances. Even in Tampa Bay, Brady was on a team that had a historic defensive performance in a Super Bowl.

BB doesn't win all those Super Bowls without Brady. Brady doesn't win them without great defenses, which BB provided (and Tampa provided for his last ring).

And they both benefitted from some luck...like Carroll passing on the goal line instead of giving the ball to Lynch...or Shanahan's idiotic play calling that allowed the Falcons to blow a huge lead.

There have been great QBs in the past who didn't have the luck or situation that Brady had...Marino, for instance. Manning is another (albeit to a lesser degree than Marino). But like I said...team game. That takes nothing away from Brady's greatness. He was magnificent.

its no different than Saban. He was an ass**** with the media for pretty much his entire time at Bama. Yet, his former players and staff said he was very different behind the scenes. We can now see that with his time on Gameday. He seems like a completely different person.

he is a lot less stressed doing a TV show rather than being a coach. being less stressed tends to bring out the best in anyone. I don't see BB at UNC as a stress-less job for the "real" version to come out.

He’ll get an offer whether he picks up that phone or not. I think he sticks with us. Really think there’s a lot of trust capital built up here with him and the program.

Brandon is pretty smart. Figure he sees the writing on the wall with BB. He’s not going to be at UNC long. I’m not sure any player will want to be part of the ACC when the college football landscape changes even more in a few years. Revenue sharing is eventually coming and I’m not sure I would want to be part of any conference other than the SEC or Big Ten.
