Vanderbilt is terrible.I still think the SEC is the most balanced conference by far top to bottom.
After today all these teams are already bowl eligible:
FLORIDA
LSU
TENNESSEE
AUBURN
ARKANSAS
ALABAMA
SOUTH CAROLINA
GEORGIA
KENTUCKY
9 out of the 12 can go bowling - and Vandy isn't horrible despite today's score. Ole Miss will play LSU closer than alot of people will think - and Mississippi State is going toe-to-toe with Arkansas.
Realistically, the top of the SEC East has been coming down as well. Spurrier's recruits are all out of Florida, and we've been on a slide since the 90's. Georgia's also obviously having a terrible season.I agree. They might not be quite as bad as they have been in recent years, but it's all relative.
On a similar note, just looking at the ACC standings, I know this sounds crazy, but the ACC is a VERY balanced conference. They may have the most depth of any conference, because with the exception of duke, they are all fairly decent teams. None of them are top 10 teams, but the conference does have depth.
I wonder how many ACC coaching changes will be made this offseason?
