First off Dustin Lindsay has failed to qualify and is headed to Hargrave. Brent Vinson just re-took ACT and has one shot left at the SAT or he will be headed to Hargrave as well.
Gerald Williams is also in limbo because the NCAA has RETROACTIVELY termed University High as a diploma mill and is no longer recognizing grades attained there. So even though his ACT score qualifies, his GPA has dropped below the necessary level. The one course that he took there was initially approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Several teams have players from UH (Morley is an example) that are free and clear because they attended a four year school last year, so they continue to be eligible. Williams may have graduated with them, but is ineligible because he didn't enroll last year. The kicker is that Williams only took one course there.
The worst part about the situation is that University of Florida staff initially led Morely and Williams to University High, but then turned around and turned the school in for being a diploma mill when several "referred athletes" decided to attend other schools.
