I'm going with the Gators. I picked them to beat OSU for the NC in my bracket, so I am sticking to it.

Mike and Mike pointed out this morning that in five of the last six instances in which teams that played each other in regular season met in finals, the loser of the regular season match-up won. So that's not good. Although I guess you could say we are due, right?

If Florida goes all out they win this by 15.

I don't think they will go all out, though.

OSU by 5-10.

i look for the OSU/FL game to be close for a while......then UF wins by 10 or so....combo of f/t's late and a little run with about 5 or 6 minutes to go.

lady vols win by 20.

Rutgers plays fabulous defense. But without the kind of shooting from 3 they enjoyed first half last night, they are not good enough.

i've not seen them play........ever.

but listening to the commentators, so take this with the grain of salt, they supposedly play very, very good defense and are streaky at best on offense. If they're hot from the outside, could present a problem, otherwise, we should slaughter them.

Who was the winner? The Hoosiers who went unbeaten?

I think the Gators will surgically remove the horseshoe from OSU's a$$!

I wasn't surprised when the Gators won by alot against UCLA and I want be surprised when they win by double figures when they beat OSU.I would imagine the experience factor for the Gators will put Oden in foul trouble and that will be all she wrote. My 18 year old is will win about $125.00 if Florida wins.He picked Gators over OSU in another bracket. As for me I'll never ever bet on Kansas and or Memphis again. never.I thought maybe things had changed with those two programs but as usual and as the past indicates they choked, big time!I picked them on my other card.
Tennessee by double figures as well as history continues to repeat itself.

the gators won the football when it was suppose to be Ohio State so I would say that Ohio State win tonight they just seem destined to win.

Close one but Gators pull it out down the stretch. I'm heading down there in about 15 minutes. Watch for me on TV!

I was thinking the same thing.

I'd rather see OSU lose football than basketball though.

I hate em both so I don't really care, I think UF has the better overall team but I think OSU is destined to win another close one. It's disgusting either way. :pinch:

I think the Gators will turn it up and should win comfortably. Oden may find himself playing less than 15-20 due to foul trouble going up against 3 good inside players for Florida. If Matt Terwilliger and Othello Hunter can contribute then OSU may win.

UF 83
OSU 70

And on that note, I find it interesting that many of the Buckeye fans are looking to tonight as a shot at revenge for the regular season game and even the BCS title game. But you know what? The only way, IMO, the Buckeyes could get any kind of meaningful revenge would be to absolutely dismantle the Gators with a profound whippin' in the neighborhood of at least a 20 pt. win, and it would probably need to be more. It ain't happenin'. OSU, if they win, will need another last second prayer-jumper from Lewis or something, but there's just no daggum way they're blowin' out UF. And that's comin' from someone who DOES NOT like UF sports, so you know I'm shootin' ya straight!
