On the Bottom Line Mike Hamilton said NCAA may keep their investigation going with basketball, football and baseball until August. What could they possibly find that they haven't already found? I don't get it.

They aren't going to find anything else. Everyone knows that the NCAA is hypocritical. They are losing their reputation. Anyone can see that they treat certain universities differently than other universities.
By delaying their verdict, it leaves the impression that they are in power. It is a game.
We all know what the final verdict is going to be anyway. Pearl will receive a one season suspension. We will lose one scholarship for 2012 and one for 2013. We will also not be eligible for post season play for 2012 & 2013.
The NCAA acts like this is some big secret that they are keeping and that they are in power.

What is there to investigate? Is there more to the story here? How long does it take to make up your mind about someone lying? If that is all there is to it.

It takes the NCAA weeks and weeks to simply check transcripts for player eligibility, I certainly expected something involving more than 3 pieces of paper to take forever for them to complete.

Rudy, why do you continue to post this crap every day? What is your motive? You have no earthly idea what the NCAA is going to decide. It is really getting old with your rumors and predictions.

He only has 81 posts. Just looking for something to stir the pot with. :)

The ncaa is not only inept and corrupt to its core, it moves at a glacial pace. It took them years, not months, to put the hammer down on USC for the Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo affairs. It's not even worth speculating about at this point. Just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best.

Being one of the Top 10 NCAA money-makers should help us out. They seem to favor their cash cows.

Exactly. And I think Slive pissed them off with his intervention. He tryed to help us out but it is backfiring. They are intentionally hurting our program because they want to slowly bleed it. They can take 3 years if they want.

Straight up, it the NCAA is going to spend until August in Knoxville, they aren't going to waste their time, money and resoources sorting through nothing. If they're staying that long that means they have alot to sort out.

Can't be good. If there was nothing, it would done and announced.

It doesn't take much effort to do absolutely nothing. The added time would be its own form of punishment even if the NCAA sits on their findings and does nothing until August.

You saying we'll get a coach that will definitely make the postseason every year? Sounds good.

The NCAA has a one finger typist to type 200 pages. Most NCAA cases take an average of 12-16 months to resolve.
