If they want games played in December or recruiting done in Dec. There is only so much coaches can do.

Eliminate early signing date, limit Dec recruiting travel, go back to Feb signing date, stop all recruiting in June and give these families a decent life back.

You are assuming they care. Maybe it's their version of the NFL draft (i.e. worst teams get best pick). Teams that don't make it to playoffs get more recruiting time. That should be blue font.

Schools should be concerned about quality of life for all their employees, including coaches. They’ll lose a lot of good coaches to NFL if things don’t change. It’s literally a 365 day job now.

It’ll be like the NFL or worse when “student athletes “ make more than the coach. That’s coming.

These coaches are paid like CEO's of major companies. Those CEO's are working these hours. I will never forget lecturer asking us in business school who wanted to be a CEO. 2/3 of the class raised their hands. He said great. Just prepare yourself to be divorced twice and have kids who hate you. Lol

I worked for several Fortune 500 companies. All of the CEOs had plenty of vacation time& none gave a damn if their employees got a DUI, hit a spouse/girlfriend or recruited new employees 24/7. The comparison is ridiculous

Ok you are officially an ass.. my husband has a corporate job and has to take his laptop and be in touch 24/7 365 days a year lol.. he had his laptop in a raft in the pool.. when I had my highest paying job in admin, I got ‘vacations’ that weren’t actually vacations 😂… you are just bringing up extraneous stuff for no reason lol.. these coaches are compensated well for their headaches.. and your throwing out unrelated matters is what is ridiculous… and if you were actually a CEO then you would know that you get bugged constantly and never relax (and make about 1/8th of what these coaches do).. they aren’t going to all run to the NFL (because that works out so well) lmao

I’ve ran my own company for 15 years. I read emails on beaches, beside pools, took phone calls at ball games, etc but I never had to deal with what these guys do. I never had to call “customers” every night till who knows when, worry about what employees were doing, etc on Sat night/Sunday morning. I’m not talking so much about the head guys making 4+ million but the assistant making far less. Yes it’s still damn good money but the life is 365/24/7

Just move early signing day to late July. Move signing day up to January. Make February a dead period

I agree move early up to preseason. I doubt 90% of the players would be signed in July. Only the elite would get signable offers IMO in July. Dec should be “quiet period” for recruiting with recruiting occurring in January & early Feb.
