NCAA or SEC

If it was your first year and you have young talent which would you prepare for a full year or just the conference play to prepare you for the SEC tournament? I know the some think the NCAA tournament is a long shot, but if they can make some magic in the SEC they could still sneek in.

I think the SEC is a long shot with Kentucky, Alabama, Florida and Miss St. I wish that would happen though. I remember UGA did it a year or so ago winning 2 games in one day I believe?
