NCAA Tournament Thread

Every team played 18 games. Kentucky won 15. Kentucky had the 2 seed in the tourney. A few close games that could have gone either way, or a body of work?

Keep showing you have no idea how what you are talking about.
By Volnation standards your season was a miserable failure, just like ours. Rick Barnes and Cal should be replaced immediately!🤓

Ok so where do u place urself in sec rankings then?

This oufhta be good.

Uh...2nd. How we finished.

So better than ut or auburn who both beat you since LSU finished first.

See folks.... this is a Kentucky fan.

Lost twice in a row to UT and just got beat by Auburn but all three of those games were just flukes.

Yeah, this is straight up delusional garbage!!!

So was UT losing to Purdue a fluke? Was LSU getting blown out a fluke?

I judged who the best teams were based on the record after 18 games, and you want to pick 3 or 4 games and throw everything else out. What kind of logic is that? UT got owned by Auburn before the NCAAT and UK owned Auburn. So who out of the 3 is better?

Stop basing your subjective rankings on a small sample size of hand picked results.

allvol123 disagrees...I have no idea why.

But I agree with you.

I was looking forward to watching him in the Final Four, but I'll have to wait until the 2019-20 NBA season.

He's worth the wait.

Because I prefer teams that are not so top heavy, thus more actual team play required. Duke undoubtedly walked out on the floor with the most talented individuals......by far every night, and struggled repeatedly.

I'm a UK grad but I was pulling for Auburn. I've never warmed up to Coach Cal and the one and done culture. Loved the Pitino and Tubby era's.

Congrats to Pearl for upgrading yet another program - the run through Kansas, North Carolina and Kentucky is a great story.

He might wish he stayed another year at Duke if the Knicks draft him.

I really don’t want him going to the Knicks. He’s a good kid, pretty soft spoken, it’s not his fault that the media pumped him so much this season. (Even though some morons on here don’t like him personally because he got a ton of media coverage that he didn’t ask for. Which makes zero sense.)

If he plays in MSG next year and had stupid expectations (which he will) and didn’t meet those expectations that City is a pretty cruel place. Everybody is gonna want a piece of him next year.

There’s also this component... NBA ratings are really low this year, LeBron is trending down. If you’re Silver and Zion goes to New York you guys bitching about seeing Zion too much will think this year was a pleasure cruise. Combine, Pre-lottery, lottery, draft day, endorsements... everything . It won’t matter if you like or watch the nba he will be everywhere. And guess what? The olympics will be next summer. Better get ready for that too.

Dude don’t blame me over how the NCAA set up the tournament a names 1 team the best cause they won just a handful of games at the end. And not just a bunch of wins against teams like vandy etc that blew.

I mean they have been doing it this way for decades but what do the know.

I don't even understand the point you're trying to make.

18 games. 15-3. Elite 8, losing in overtime vs getting blown out or struggling against a 15 and a 10.
