NCAA Tourney is a joke... someone explain to me...

Why St. Mary's is predicted to be in the tourney with a rpi of 39 and SOS of 112... and GA is predicted to be out with an rpi of 36 and SOS of 36? Their worst RPI loss was to AL with an RPI of 74.

St. Mary's lost to RPI #317 San Diego, RPI #106 Portland

I'm not a GA homer... but something just doesn't seem right about that.

If you're looking at Lundardi's Bracketology, it's just because he has St Mary's picked to win the WCC title.

Edit: Now that they've lost to Gonzaga, St Mary's will probably fall off his bracket.

Ironically, Lunardi updated his bracket and left St Mary's on there. Now I have no answer. And thanks 7th, things are all good so far. It's the rainy season right now, so I'm just living every kid's dream of playing soldier in the mud and muck. I don't even get in trouble for it!

Honestly if you are a bubble team, there are no excuses in a 65 team tourney. Yeah maybe you deserved to get in, but you can't leave it up to the committee. Play well enough that they have no other choice but to include you.
