No doubt. I'm surprised there's not a monetary threshold on it. If someone was chowing down in a 5 star restaurant, there might be an issue regarding improper benefits. But pasta at a team banquet is ludicrous.

Coach told them to go easy and he would drop off a bag of tacos after.

$3.83 to the charity of their choice?

Is the collective ***hole of the NCAA considered a charity?

Lol...meanwhile in Tuscaloosa a former player made payments on behalf of an agent to college players and the NCAA doesn't bat an eye their way.

What a F joke.

You'll probably be happier if the NCAA stays out of that one.

Actually, the NCAA did not penalize OU for the pasta.

"
While the Sooners elected to self-report, the NCAA released a statement saying that what the three players did was not a violation of any NCAA rules.

"While we appreciate Oklahoma's commitment, there are no NCAA rules regarding portion sizes, and any penalties were determined by the university," NCAA spokeswoman Meghan Durham said in a statement.

Well, that's something I guess.
