Did anyone else get really peeved at the end of the game? I had a few things really tick me off with UF. I'm glad they beat Stoops and OU to prove SEC dominance, and a gave a good kick to Stoops in the jewels but, I hated these 2 things:

  • Tebow taunting OU at the end of the game. Seriously be a little more gracious.
  • UF celebrating before the game was over to a point that they couldn't get a play off, and had to call a timeout with 22 seconds left.

It made me pretty angry to see that they were already celebrating, and didn't have enough personnel on the field to fricking take a knee. Thats just plain bush league, and no one deserves to have to stand on the sideline like Stoops did with a camera in his face after he just lost the NCG through a whole timeout. That was just bad taste.

Kidding, right? Do you not think that OU would have done the same thing had it been the other way around? I thought Tebow's taunting was funny and after the comments that were said about him this week I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing.

Right. You can't take a 5 yard penalty for delay of game? Or take a knee without 11 players? What a joke.

It's still in bad taste imo, and what ever happened to the saying "be the bigger man?"

I hope all the holier than thou crybabies on here ripped Manning for leading the band at Alabama and Fulmer for leaving Peyton in to throw a meaningless touchdown against UGA in a pathetic, and ultimately futile, attempt to pad his Heisman resume. If you did, kudos for consistency. If not, you're hypocrites who need a tall glass of Shut The Hell Up.

Hard to imagine that any team wouldn't have had some issues with early celebration in the closing seconds of that game. It's only magnified because it's Florida and Urban Meyer...a guy that's smug, arrogant, and easy to dislike.

I really don't have a problem with it.

Tebow's taunting is no surprise. He's a good guy, I suppose...but he's always seemed a bit inconsistent to me. If you wear your religion on your sleeve (or on your eye black), you're going to be held to higher standard than the average athlete. He's always been a guy who taunts at the end of games -- it's really not a big deal, but seems contradictory to the humble-man-of-faith persona he's praised for.

There was so much taunting and jawing throughout the game by both teams I don't see how the end was any different.

I had zero problem with the timeout at the end or with Tebow taunting.

Oklahoma had been talking trash about him for the whole week and I dont blame him one bit for giving it back.

They just won the National Championship.....come on people, I dislike FL more than anyone but they handled it like I would want my team to handle it.

Actually, with 2 minutes to go and the ball inside OK's 30, I was hoping they would score again. Did you see OK running up scores in their final games so they could say that they were the only team in history to score over a zillion points in 100 straight games? I have no sympathy for them.

I was hoping that they would score again but chose not to. I have no sympathy for them either. But had FL scored again they would have been only talked about how they ran up the score. I am just glad that OU got knocked out their high horse!

I had hoped UF scored in that last drive, but not by throwing it, but by running their option. Because then it wouldn't have been running up the score, but OU's defense not being able to stop a simple option run. I think everything was played well until the last 40 seconds, and then it was just poor. I just don't get why people can't be humble. Thats just my opinion, I know the majority disagree's, so be it.

Exactly . . . Most of the people criticizing Florida and Tebow would never say a word if it was their team.
