Home losses to bad teams hurt more than home wins help. The loss tonight makes 2 losses to bad RPI teams, and IMO that outweighs the win over uva.

Yes, but if they split with UK and UF (which I think they will) and take care of business the rest of the way, 12-6 can still happen, and they'll be in. People act like this team was going to go 16-2, but they weren't. They were going to lose a game or two like this. Does it suck it was now? Yes, but it was going to happen.

How long are we going to keep saying, " if they take care of business the rest of the way"? It's obvious that's not a possibility.

Really? If you can see the future so clearly, you need to share the lotto numbers. Fact is, at 12-6 prediction, one of two things would've happened. 1.) Vols lose every game to GOOD teams, Uk, UFx2, Mizzoux2, and Arkansas/LSU. People would be on here complaining about how they never won a signature conference game.
2.) Vols win some of these games against those GOOD teams, but lose a couple to some OK-BAD teams. People get on here complaining about how this team sucks and won't win anything.

So far, it is #2. You don't know if this team will beat any of those teams or not. I know I'm not great at math, but i believe 18-2=16, meaning there are 16 chances to get 11 more wins. Not out of the question like you and many others are willing to bet your house on.

My crystal ball says they will lose at KY, at FL at Mizzou, at home vs FL, at GA, and at South Carolina.. Will CCM supporters ( both of them) be satisfied with that?

If that happens, it won't but if it does, no one will be. But you've been screenshotted, and boookmarked for when you're wrong about any one of these and will be condescended upon once it happens.

Bring it on. While they may not lose to the teams mentioned, they will lose 7 SEC games and get back to the NIT.

Don't change it. You've already claimed which games they'll lose, and now you're trying to give yourself an out cause you're not confident in your picks and will have nothing to cry about when you're wrong.

You, and the other few CCM apologists will be the one's "crying" when the season is over and our " bubble" team is once again relegated to the NIT and another first round upset loss. No excuse to lose a game like they lost last night, none!

I've not said there was. However to go 12-6 in conference, there will be 6 losses. And I didn't see them coming from the hands of just UK, UF, Mizzou, and Arkansas. Simple math/counting will tell you a loss would have to come from some other team.

Correct. And as I've already tried to point out, look at the other SEC teams that had a slight chance.

Missouri: lost to UGA
Ole Miss: lost to Mississippi State
LSU: lost to Tennessee
Arkansas: lost to A&M

During Zo's first yr, u could tell that this would be an awesome yr. it worked out better than I could imagine with us getting Barton, Maymon coming back, and stokes staying. I didn't think there is any way Zo could screw this up.......he keeps proving me wrong.

It's sad when wins versus Virginia,lsu, and two lower tier teams is considered going on a run.
