with respect to the Heisman competition. The guy had a HUGE year--signficantly better than McCoy--and doesn't even make the final five.

Clausen's stats for the year: 3,722 yards passing, 28 TDs, 4 Ints, QB rating of 161+

McCoy's stats: 3,500 yards passing, 27 TDs, 12 Ints (!), QB rating of 147.

Clausen was a signficantly better QB. I think Golden Tate got screwed too--he, too, had a monster year. And I'm not a ND fan. ND's bad year hurt these two, which is too bad for them...

Well ESPN just sent out a text from Chris Mortensen that Brian Kelly will leave Cincinnati for Notre Dame but neither School has confirmed it yet....

Clausen is the first QB on Kiper's board. I think he'll be fine. It's a shame that he's not getting any heisman love though.

Heisman has never been about being the best player in college football more about who is the best player on a top 5 team which is sad really.

if stats were the end all, be all, Case Keenum would be a lock. He threw for 1700 more yards, 15 more TD's and 5 more INT's than Clausen.
