Ha! Here we go....

When do they expect to start playing a big 10 schedule? And I guess this disbands the ND rumors.

Big 12 is disaster land.
Only if they choose to be. They could add Utah or TCU and nobody would much miss Nebraska. Osborne has allowed his ego to wreck his school's athletic department. They'll be an utter disaster in the Big 10.

he's got a much better shot at a bcs in the big-10 IMO. look at the garbage the big-10 has gotten into the bcs recently. also a lot more tv money. colorado is gone IMO and mizzou might leave soon after. much harder to replace 3 than 1.

Texas University, and Texas A&M Board of Regents to meet in a special session on Thursday. Not sure if the meeting is combined or not. Lastly, I'll add, Gene Stallings is on our Board. He might be pushing the SEC slate come Friday.

I thought that having TTU as part of the equation was necessary in order for A&M and TU to move.

I think the door is open for mass migration at this point. That can't be a good thing.

You are the only person I have heard talk any of A&M to the SEC w/out Texas. Where are you getting this or is it just your own opinion?

I don't know that Nebraska can successfully recruit Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, and other traditional Big10 states.

And I don't see kids from Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma being too interested in playing in the Big10 either.

Where exactly is Missouri going? C-USA? The recent reports make it pretty clear the Big 10 doesn't give a damn about them. Trading Colorado and Nebraska for TCU and Utah would end up being a win for the Big 12. With the increased revenue, Utah and TCU, who have actually been better than Colorado and Nebraska of late anyways, would be able to retain their top notch football coaches and hire better basketball coaches. You're also adding even more Dallas-Fort Worth viewers and the Salt Lake City market to offset the loss of that massive Omaha market and the 10 people in Denver who care about CU athletics.

Tiger, its just my opinon. Im not for it, or against it.

and as for Tech "having to be involved", we'll call Tubbs on Friday and let him know what we decided.

The only reason to move is for moving's sake. Losing Nebraska and Colorado shouldn't have the first effect on what Texas and OU, the only Big 12 schools who matter in this debate, decide to do.

Then, the Baylor folks can call you Saturday and tell you what you can actually do. It'll be just like a replay of the formation of the Big 12.

Missouri is fixing to get left standing in the corner with powerhouses like Baylor and Iowa State to keep them company. "Go play intramurals brotha."
