I am currently taking my LAST graduate class, and hopefully will be getting my Master's in Sport Mangement in December.
This last class is a Facilties research project, and I have decided to do a renovation plan for Stokely Athletic Center. I am trying to keep everything as realistic as possible (architecture, costs, etc.) beyond what is required, because hopefully I can use this research someday as part of a Doctoral Thesis. The ultimate goal is to have a plan ready that could possibly be used by the athletic department someday.
The main problem I have is finding pictures of Stokely from its heyday as a basketball arena. I have been researching for months and have found ONE good picture. The only avenues left are going straight to the athletic department archives (which is hard to do in Johnson City), or see if any of you might have some pictures from any Stokely basketball games.
Any pictures of Stokely would be greatly appreciated. Outside, inside, concourses, anything.
