TN has 115 players on roster as well. I guess 115 is the limit.

According to the NCAA (this is total players, not scholly players)

Alabama - 118 players
Tennessee - 114 players

85 is the scholarship limit. I'm not sure of the total limit, but I've always assumed you can have as many players as you like as long as you only had 85 scholarship players on your roster.

Also, there is a limit on how many can dress out and how many can travel to games. I think it is 70 can travel, but not certain.

I know in DIII it's 75 I believe (may be different because of no scholarships down here), but in home games the whole team can.

I want to think Bowl games are an exception.
