Ok, in that link you will see that i have the "money trail" selected. What does this Money trail mean? Is this money recieved from lobbyist? If so, exactly how is this legal? They pay a guy to vote their way? Seems they also get paid to vote against bills as well, so its a win both ways for the officials? Some of these guys got 3 million dollars just for 1 bill.
If anyone can help clear this up for me, i would be very thankful. I already have a hearty distrust for our Gov, and if i'm right, this just adds fuel to the fire.

What would be the point in voting, when the game is rigged from the start? Obviously, it does not matter what "the people" say.

Thanks for looking guys.

It's money their campaigns have received from those organizations. They aren't explicitly paying for their votes. But they hope it has some influence. And it's not necessarily just for one bill, but really their agenda. There might be several bills per year that affects them, or none.

Do you really believe that?

Lobbying is nothing more than legalized bribery. Money, not the people is the hand that rocks the cradle.

The Congressional Golden Rule: He who has the gold, makes the rules.

It stinks to high heaven.

They might be getting paid even more by someone on the other side of the issue. I'm just saying it's not totally implicit

They are pimping themselves out regardless the level of implicitness.

I don't care which side of the issue the briber, er, donator is on. It's crooked as a question mark.
