Cycles. FL will turn it around at some point, I hope they do, as it's more fun with them in the mix.
The problem for FL is they are stuck with personnel on offense that were mostly for the spread but they have a pro-style QB, and a pro-style OC. It's going to take awhile to turn it around.
The advantage Bama and LSU have is they never really went to the spread, all the defenses have now adjusted to the spread and in general has been nullified just like many have suggested, however this gives Bama/LSU an advantage on O as they are built to as run first/throw second pro-style offense... so Bama/LSU are going against all these D's that are setup for the spread and they just ram it right down the D's throat.
Actually ChiefSmackaho nailed it on the head.
Florida will be back, cycles. Fans have to use patience.
