Neiko Creamer update?

This kid could be a stud possession and red zone receiver when nickel backs and LBs are having to cover him. With CBs and safeties covering North, Malone and Pearson he should have some great matchups.

I believe our nickel will not be a weakness this year...I know the guys played their heart out but it was a real weakness that was scored on multiple times in 2013

Can someone update me on this kids status. I thought he was to early enrolle?

Thanks

I read that he attended several different high schools and that complicates the clearinghouse and everybody knows how slow and worthless they are anyway! He'll enroll in June

Correct. Evan Woodbery stated, with respect to Creamer, that "A 15th possible early enrollee, receiver Neiko Creamer, won't be coming until the summer. Creamer, an Elkton, MD., native, had long planned to arrive in January. But with 15 players for 14 available January slots, the Vols opted not to take a chance on anyone who might present hurdles with the NCAA Clearinghouse, which verifies the academic qualifications of student-athletes. Creamer had attended several high schools, which sometimes can slow the approval process with the NCAA. Creamer is still expected to sign with the rest of the class in February and enroll in the summer. The Vols are likely to sign at least 16 more prospects on the traditional National Signing Day on Feb. 5" (published in the Tennessean; the full article is not accessible from their website).

that doesn't complicate the clearinghouse. what is typical about these situations is that the kid and his family have a very difficult time getting all the proper documentation required from the different schools. Usually, they have to keep going back to them until they get things.

the clearinghouse process is rather straight forward. if one has the appropriate documents, the application can move on through. that takes time so it is smart to try and get the right documents together the first time. Its almost always the applicant that has failed to provide the right information..

Maybe the vols has 15 EE, I wouldn't be surprised if both are on campus Monday or by end of next week!

Blair and Henderson will likely be on campus next week, but Creamer will have to sign on NSD, 2/5/14.

If this guy is a WR, I pity the CB or safety who tries tackling him head on after down field catch.

Creamer was introduced at the basketball game last night, Henderson was not.
