I am curious as to what others think about this. Nepotism exists everywhere. In college football I think it is worse than in other places.
Obviously it is a sensitive subject for us with Kiffin and Dooley obviously benefitting from their dad.
It seems like a hard field to break into and it seems that family often hires family.
Who are some competent families? I would say Shane Beamer is a good coach and. would do well somewhere else. The Bowdens have certainly had success.
I would say that petrino and pellini and paterno are all examples of guys getting. jobs they did not deserve based on family connections.
What are examples you know of? In the limited world of 1000 CFB jobs does it bother you that many are taken by the brother or cousin or son of?
