Network for Mich Game

The official UT site says the game is on truTV. I live in Clarksville and have no idea what network that is. Help please.

have you checked your cable provider to see if they carry it?

I think its the old court tv channel.
Comcast - CH. 66
Direct TV - CH 246 (not sure if its different there)
Dish - CH 204 (not sure if its different there)

I dono how satelite works or if it changes by region

go online to your cable provider's website.

there ought to be some way that you can enter your location, and in return, receive a listing of all the channels (number and network) for your area

It's CH. 53 on my Comcast.

It seems like the CBS affiliates would carry whichever game they would carry if every game were still on CBS, and the remaining games would be on cable.

I guess this isn't the case, because the three involved cable networks are not owned by CBS.

Why wouldn't this game be on CBS for local coverage? I know there are 4 different networks carrying the games this year. However, not all get those other channels.

The game played on CBS as in the past for local coverage games would then allow everybody locally to get the game. I don't understand that! :unsure:

What provide are you talking about? It's channel 246 on DirecTV.

I'm pretty sure TBS owns TruTV so it was probably a deal worked out between them and TBS and TBS is just using it to market TruTV. Smart because I can't count how many times I've heard, "What is TruTV". At least basketball fans know now.

I believe you're right! All 3 channels on DirecTV(Tru, TNT, & TBS) are one right after the other on the channel dial. Channels 245, 246, & 247. Turner would own all three networks actually since Ted Turner owns TBS & TNT. :)
