Is it just me or did we get trolled hard by some of the highest quality players, all the same way? Also I never saw so little attractive recruits on nsd, at least we got alontae!

Yep, kinda bizarre. Everybody kicking us while we’re down, including players we did everything we could do to get to be a part of our program. Walker was straight up classless.

As I said elsewhere, these games seem to be all the rage among the so called elite recruits. Commitment is a joke. It's all a game. Don't care if a staff dumps a kid on signing day to get a better player. Fine with me. Until these prima donnas start honoring the word commitment, I say what's good for the recruit is good for the staff/school. Hey, it's just business as they are saying.

Imo just a couple. I must admit I don't like a committed unknown receiver flipping to a coaching staff that he knows even less about than our staff. That hurt.

the admin and the haslems are the reason UT football is in the shape its in now. overpaid grads from other schools, and the keepers of the Cleveland browns

Not only did the players troll us but fans of other teams are trolling us hard now. The comments that scrolled across the screen during ITS live feed was brutal.

There's 2 or 3 that should've never received a UT offer. I guess CJP didn't have much of a choice with his late hire.

Have you ever seen...

• A 4-8 season at UT?
• A winless SEC season at UT?
• A coaching search in which:
- A school fires the AD in the middle?
- A coach is hired then unhired due to fan backlash?
- A school publicly misses out on so many of their head coaching candidates?​

This is truth. Lousy hire after hire. Davenport going above Haslam and hiring Fulmer could have possibly saved the program. The haslams are baaaaad at sports

I've got to believe GA's coaching staff, i.e. Kirby, had a lot to do with that. Still classless, and the kid should've known better. But, I don't think he came up with it.

They are 18, treated like rock stars, and just trying to look cool in front of their friends. I wouldn't lose sleep over it

I thought we revolted and freed ourselves from the Haslams - that's how we ended up with Fulmer and Pruitt?

Get used to this circus of a NSD. CJP got us involved with a handful of elite recruits. That is the reason we are stinging right now. Today was a below average signing day and anyone who thinks otherwise is fooling themselves. :loco:
CJP was hoping to be able to flip some If he could. We have to remember these are not the recruits that we were competing for with Vandy, UK, USCe, etc.... these were the upper echelon of recruits. Top 100 players that are not legacy kids. Most every school that we were competing with has a much better recent resume. Bama-NC, Georgia-SEC champ/NC runner up, Florida-SEC east champs 2 of last three seasons, Clemson-NC last year, Ohio State-NC/playoff appearances.
These are who we are going to be recruiting against going forward. Get used to the drama, it's going to happen every year. Maybe once these top 100 guys see that we will play them at their correct position, have schemes that highlight their skills, and get a chance to see what this staff is going to be about on the field we will be able to reap the benefits.
I say congrats to all the young men who chose to come aboard. Regardless of star ratings I hope these guys can develop and be productive. After today's kick in the jewels, I say it's time bare down support these men and make sure this is the last time we have to feel like this on NSD. If you don't think CJP isn't steaming behind that country smile you are fooling yourself. Go Vols

Whether you like the donors or not, the fact is that big money donors bring in roughly the equivalent of ticket sales and without the Haslams, UT is losing money and in a bigger hole. So a lot of this is pick your poison:

Hell.....encourage them too.

People who talk **** about you when you’re down rarely remember doing it and are shocked as hell when you run them over for it.

I say let’s get moving forward, see what we can do next year, the trolling was unreal this year, Copeland mom probavly stoke the day with the troll job she did!
