Yeh I think SI.com may have got me because it said updated as of 2-13-06 so I was afraid it was new...So must likely premature speculation on my part....

Easy guys, don't get your hopes up. Florida will still be in front of us. As crappy as that sounds, learn to accept it. They still count our win at home as a fluke, wait until 2/22.

I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. SI is confusing like that sometimes.

I think we are looking at being ranked #9 when the polls come out today. Illinois #10 lost and Florida lost to South Carolina which will likely put them at #12 or #13.

Did anyone notice how they try to diminish the hoops accomplishments ESPN on the web site late Sat and early Sunday had the tag line "Tennessee squeaks past Georgia". Yet a darling like Gonzaga who has been on the edge for a month now as far as nearly losing just gets pumped with tag lines like "Zags win 10th straight". I know these things are not that big a deal but are they not little subliminal messages.........Are they on purpose??

I just checked SI and it shows UT at #11 and UF now at #7. I gues it is the new one.

They gain a spot after losing to SC at home? That would be madness.

I don't think that's the new one. It got updated for win-loss this morning. But is not latest rankings.
