This is a big time get if he makes it to college. Big upside as a player and great message to the recruiting world if true.

Confirmed by a PG writer's tweet.
Big time talent, albeit with commensurate pro risk.

With those bloodlines I would not be surprised to see him skip college. Hope for the best for the Vols.

Here's a little more on this story. Apparently, he hasn't talked to his father in who knows when, but overall he still seems like a fairly well grounded kid. Glad to have a player with those bloodlines either way. Article mentions that he hit .398 last year. Only one, HR, but his dad wasn't much for power either. I guess you don't need a lot of power though when you can gun down major leaguers from your knees. If any of you guys are too young to remember him, it's worth the effort to see what we're talking about here.
