I've had my LG phone for a while now and I'm looking to get a new phone. My plan is with Cingular, and I'd like to stay with them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which phone I should purchase that will be worth the money?

Any particular features you are looking for? I know cbc was looking at an mp3 player/fm radio phone with cingular.

I don't think I'm looking for any particular features...although a camera would be nice. I have a camera on my old phone and it's become very handy during those random Kodak moments when no one has a camera.

Mostly, I just want a reliable phone that I can run over with a lawn mower and still have it function normally. (Okay...that's a little bit much, but you get the picture)

I think you should probably do see a few in person. In your case you probably want one that feels pretty sturdy in your hand. Most new phones have a camera.

I have the Motorola Razr and I really like it. It seems to be one of the more mainstream phones right now. Its very thin but very well put together imo. It has a camera phone as well as lots of other features. I really love the big screen. It's great for looking at pics or sending/reading text messages.

I have the new Razr, and I'm with Freak on this one. It's way cool. The screen size, bluetooth headset, voice recognition, and speakerphone capabilities are all very nice. It can also play mp3's, but I haven't used that function yet. It also has the standard 1 meg camera.

The size and shape are great for me, as I hate carrying a silly clip on my belt (a pager is enough!) and it fits perfectly in that little change slip inside a pants pocket. However, if you're planning on dropping it a few times, I'd consider at least getting the leather case, as it's not very durable-appearing.
