New University of Tennessee baseball coach Dave Serrano has made quite a splash in recruiting in his first few weeks on the job, bringing in five of the highest rated players in the state of Tennessee in the last two weeks alone.
Tuesday morning, he added a sixth.
Morristown Wests Andrew Lee, a rising senior, committed to play for the Volunteers in 2012, ending a long recruiting process for the 65 right hander.
Lee, who had not seriously considered Tennessee under the previous coaching staff, mentioned the success of Serrano in his stops at Cal State-Fullerton and UC Irvine as a determining factor in his decision to head to Knoxville.
