Hall had a .392 batting average last year and only struck out 14 times in 240 at bats.

Warren, 17, had a dominant 2013 season for the Prep, going 6-1 with a 1.26 ERA in 50 innings of work. Opposing batters hit just .151 against the hard-throwing southpaw.

...received offers from Georgia Tech, the University of North Carolina, Duke, Rutgers, among others before settling on Tulane.

I haven't seen Hall play and don't know anything about him. However, don't get too excited about his production at Cumberland. NAIA baseball is at a slightly lower level than AAA high school baseball in Tennessee.

Backward K I'm not sure what AAA HS baseball in Tennesse you are watching but I would highly disagree with you on that. Why don't we wait and see what he can do before making judgment.

Happy that the Vols signed Hall. Everything I have read, the guy is a winner on and off the field. Plus, if he batted .400 at any level that is very good. Rooting for him to be just as successful.

My point remains, NAIA baseball is much closer to HS AAA baseball than anything in the SEC.
