They should at least add a "none of the above" option.

Auburn gets my vote.

Out of the 4, I'd say Auburn or LSU will be the strongest.

Nothing against Urban Meyer, but Florida didn't look very good last year, atleast not to the point where Urban Meyer deserves the credit some people are giving him. Same with Charlie Weiss. And Les Miles? I still can't tell if he's a good coach or not.

Mark Richt is by far, but this is my own opinion, the best coach in the SEC.

And I used to think Tommy Tubby was a goofball, but not any more.

OWB got it for me - why no none of the above selection??

Personally I like the fact that everyone is talking about the other programs and not ours - like you say LIO - under the radar!!!

Just to be clear, I'm not saying that none of those teams have a chance to win the SEC. I'm just saying that I can't and don't want to vote for any of them. :yuck:

Well, you all know how I feel about ESPN, but not even including UT for consideration was a cheap shot. Now I'll wait for milo and hatvol et al to come
and give a half-hour lecture on how the ESPN/UT bias doesn't really exist and how
UT didn't deserve to be in consideration for a scrimmage game, let alone an SEC championship.

what has Chris Leak done in his three years of football that he should deserve all the hype hes getting? He gets that much hype every year and every year he doesnt live up to it. Last year he was about the 5th best QB in the conference in my opinion.

Though I agree with you the answer is simple....there are no other QBs to hype in the SEC this year.

YDS PCT RATING
2003 2435 59.4% 132.91
2004 3197 59.6% 144.93
2005 2639 62.8% 136.54

There's some stats for Chris Leak. I understand why he's so hated, but to say he's untalented is a little ridiculous. What are the odds our QB passes for over 3000 or even 2500 yards next year? I'd say not too good. If he was in a more conventional passing offense, he'd probably have been All-SEC last year and this year, too.

I'm trying to remember a great signature win for Leak and all I can come up with is last year's win vs. UGA. The knock on that win is UGA was without their starting QB.

I don't think you are measured by stats but by great play in big games. :twocents:
