Hope this makes it. I hate to be posting here after a loss, but after years of following this forum (started in '04ish) I figured maybe I should stop putting it off. I see a lot of passion in these forums and I certainly love the fight that is displayed by our fans, even in a discussion forum. I am a chaplain by trade, hence the name.
I just wanted to say, I am proud of our Vols, overall this season. After the last few coaches, we've definitely seen far worse days. I love that we're sitting here griping after our 9th game of the season, losing our first one to a stacked UGA team, versus facing our 3rd or 4th for the season to start November.
I do think that CJH has done great work in his short time here and I really love watching his offense play ball, maybe minus today. I am very sorry for the loss, but I pray that we regroup and finish out our season strong in November. We could recover and get back in the playoff, but I realize this is very much a long shot. Either way, I am glad to be a part of the Vol Nation here, and thank you so much for having me. I will try and overcome the anxiety and be active on these boards for the first time in almost 2 decades.
Let's be sure to keep it as positive as possible despite our tough history and GBO!!!
