I believe through the regular season 1A and 2A will play together, 3 and 4, 5 and 6....then come playoff time they will split into 6 "divisions."

So, there will be 3 "divisions" during the regular season, and 6 during the playoffs. This will supposedly help out with travel.

You are correct if a team plays in District 7-AA and they have 3A beside there name that means in the playoffs they will be competing in the playoffs for the 3A State Championship. So the 1A, 2A etc.. is the class they will be playing in the playoffs.

What's the number on the far right?

The enrollment. The private schools use a multiplier. That is why you see some with a really low enrollment listed with bigger schools.

I thought my old school's enrollment was a typo but nope. It's really that small.

I think this is great. I need to finish up with school and get to coaching going to be so exciting getting the old rivals back.

Personally, I think the new districts suck, but then again, my school got placed in a district where the shortest distance they have to go to is to Morristown West, a good 20-30 miles away, if I'm being conservative about it.

Isn't Seymour in SD's? If so they are only about 20 minutes down the road. But yeah that is messed up other than them.

Yea, forgot about them. Still, even though we got blown out every game, it's nice to have a close venue to go to games.
