Because their offense is the problem. Scooby Wright is playing their first game since game 2. His loss is equivalent to us losing Maggit.

This bowl usually seems to provide a high scoring game that's close in the 4th quarter.

PAC12 vs Mountain West. Yep, that's equal.

Yeah like the 10th best team in the PAC12 this year. You almost act like Arizona's normally a football power.

Not to mention they struggled just to make a bowl game this season; why should anyone think they wouldn't struggle in that bowl game too?

Because they were playing a bad New Mexico team and have more talent.

You're neglecting how Arizona's also bad this year.

I'm not sure a team that's drastically more talented would have been losing to other 6-6 teams by scores like 49-3 and 52-37 during the year, either (or escaping Colorado 38-31).

A team from the PAC 12 should pound New Mexico. Period

Gotta admit:

I was very entertained and impressed by the Lobos' offensive scheme! Just seemed so effective and creative in their running game. If you have a QB that can effectively run that triple option spread look and then also be an accurate passer (ala Dak Prescott) it'd be UNSTOPPABLE.

PS: Neither a condemnation of Dobbs, nor a hint toward him.
